Hello! I'm Jim, a CD/ECD/writer from Detroit now based in New York. Thus, my URL is a lie. But "WriterNoLongerDownUnder" is such a mouthful.

I moved to Australia in 2014 when long-time agency crush Clemenger BBDO came calling, and have also been lucky enough to work at great shops like Crispin Porter, BBH NY, as an ECD at TBW\RAAD Dubai, and now as CD on Pringles at FCB NY. I think in that order.

 

Over that time, I helped earn a handful of accolades, including three Emmy nominations, 29 Lions, 30 One Show Pencils and 46 Clios and Sports Clios.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to managing teams or client partners, but think each relationship should be as unique as the work itself.
