Hello! I'm Jim, a CD/ECD/writer from Detroit now based in New York.

Thus, my URL is a lie. But "WriterNoLongerDownUnder" is such a mouthful.

I moved to Australia in 2014 when long-time agency crush Clemenger BBDO came calling, and have also been lucky enough to work at great shops like Crispin Porter + Bogusky, BBH New York and as an ECD at TBW\RAAD Dubai. I think in that order.

Over that time, I helped earn a handful of shiny metal things, including 25 Lions, three Webbys and one Emmy nomination.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to managing teams or client partners, but think each relationship should be as unique as the work itself.
